Abstract
CLSU’s Research and Development Centers have developed many technologies that can help improve the quality of life of the farmers, animal raisers, and plant growers. But many farmers remain in traditional farming and hesitant to adopt changes and new technology. Not just the refusal in the new technology is the reason why they are not adopting new technologies but also they are not aware of many new technologies generated by different agencies. This study is conducted to know the farmers’ awareness and training preference on the CLSU technologies in two villages in Science City of Munoz. The study areas were the poorest and farthest village but the respondents were randomly chosen. The results of the study revealed that more than half of the respondents were aware in four out of 15 CLSU. Technologies namely organic fertilizer production, artificial insemination in carabao, vermiculture and red tilapia. Most of the respondents were not so aware of the fisheries and goat technologies. Farmer-respondents were all interested in attending trainings about CLSU Technologies and they preferred interpersonal approach like seminars, trainings, lectures and group discussions.
