Abstract
Cue lure attracted Bactrocera spp. was determined in areas grown with economically important host plants. Bactrocera cucurbitae was the sole species collected from municipalities of Nueva Ecija (Aliaga, Bongabon, Cuyapo, General Tinio, Guimba, Llanera, Pantabangan, Quezon, Rizal, San Antonio, Zaragoza). Highest catches of B. cucurbitae were collected in San Esteban Rizal. Number of host available in the area affects the numbers of catches. Insecticide application and its interval of application affected the number of fruit flies collected.
