Abstract
The major practice in cytoplasmic male sterility (CMS) seed multiplication was conducted at the Phil-Sino Center for Agricultural Technology, CLSU, Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija from June 2016 to October 2016.
The general objective of the major practice was to expose the student to actual operations and management of hybrid seed production. The specific objectives were: to enhance the knowledge of the student and develop skills in the production of A-line seeds, to produce 450 kilograms of clean rice seed in one hectares and to compute and present the cost and return analysis of produced CMS lines.
