The Perception of local residents towards the quality of life influenced by the Labi River in Bongabon, Nueva Ecija

Tourism improves its local residents' quality of life through employment opportunities, improving public services, and increases environmental quality. identifying the perceptions of local residents influenced by tourism is significant tool in evaluating the sustainability and development of the tourist attraction. This paper examined the perception of local residents towards the influence of Labi River in their quality of life in Bongabon, Nueva Ecija in terms of the financial resources available in the area, The education system, and their health and safety. Moreover, the study also presented the challenges and consequential implication of Labi River towards the local residents' quality of life. the study utilized descriptive survey method to gather data from 100 local residents as respondents of the study and present information from the collected data that will support the research objective. The result of the study shows that the Labi River positively influences the local residents' quality of life even though there are still factors that negatively implicate their standard of living. Support from the local government can impart to improve the quality of life present in Labi River in Bongabon, Nueva Ecija.
