dc.description.abstractThis study aims to uncover and explore the underlying themes depicting faculty memebers' lived experiences, and their coping mechanisms amidst COVID-19 pandemic The researcher also used semi-structured interview as research instrument to gather in-depth data. meanwhile, the researcher used thematic analysis to interpret the gathered data. Based on the findings of the study, teachers have negative and positive experiences while teaching remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic. Some participants viewed distance learning as a threat to quality education, while some viewed it as an opportunity. With the challenges they have faced, the participants utilized several coping strategies to survive the unprecedented crisis brought about by pandemic. The findings revealed that professors have positive and negative experiences during remote teaching in the new normal education. Teachers had many difficulties during distance learning yet, they developed a resilient attitude toward teaching in the new normal.
