Abstract
This study deals with the vulnerabilities of rice farmers in Pinagpanaan, Talavera, Nueva Ecija. Participants were idntified based on purposive sampling for a total of 802 farmers in Pinagpanaan, Talavera, Nueva Ecija.
The Pearson R Correlation was used to determine the signifcant between socio demographic characteristics and types of vulnerability. Also, other statistical analysis was used to find the frequency and percentage of each variable. The types of vulnerability were cataegorized as the physical economic.
On the other side rice farmers are also vulnerable to the type of calamities, pest and variation of supply and demand. While the rice farmers in Pinagpanaan, Talavera, Nueva Ecija are not vulnerable on the water resources and capital in farming.
The study revealed that sex is significantly correlated with the pest in farming and profir have highly significant relationship to capital in farming. Lastly, the rice farmers desire to have a different job so they can improve their lives and they are physically vulnerable to farming because it's difficult for them.
