dc.description.abstractThe study aimed to determine the Intergenerational Cultural transmission of Kalanguya Tribe in Barangay Malico, Sta Fe, Nueva Vizcaya. The research seeks to discover the cultural transmission process and to show the customs and traditions that are presented in the Kalanguya Tribe. The study employed interview schedules with 5 households in barangay Malico. Households with three generations and resides in one house is considered as a respondent. These generations are composed of three namely, first generation that composed of elders and grandparents, second generation is composed of parents including aunties and uncles and youngest is composed of the children of the second generation. The results of the study show that customs and traditions were passed using methods namely: interpersonal, folk media, rituals, traditional games and education. These methods were effective in the preservation of the culture. These cultures were also passed through the help of co-Kalanguya and visitors that help the tribe promote and cultivate well their unique culture across generations.
