dc.description.abstractIn this paper, perceived effects of the language used in IEC materials to the knowledge, attitude and practices on climate change of farmers in Talugtug, Nueva Ecija was explored. It was conducted in three barangays of Talugtug Nueva Ecija which are Cabiangan, Mayamot I and Saverona since these was the first three barangays that has the largest population. Twenty respondents for each barangay were selected to answer the given questionnaire. The scope of this study is not only the knowledge, attitude, practices and the preferred language on trial but also covered supportable. The respondents are randomly chosen, hence, it is easily generalized the farmers as a whole. The perceived effect of the language used in IEC materials to the knowledge, attitude and practices on climate change of farmers in Talugtug, Nueva Ecija was for pre-testing, the English language used in IEC materials is more effective than the Filipino language. And for the post test, English language in IEC material was still more effective than Filipino language. But majority of the respondents prefer Filipino language to be used in IEC material.
