dc.description.abstractThe study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of communication media used by the Philippine Carabao Center in disseminating agricultural information to farmers. The farmers were selected from five barangays in Science City of Munoz and five barangays in San Jose City which served as the respondents of the study. A total of 100 respondents were taken from two cities, 50 from Science City of Munoz and 50 from San Jose City. A survey questionnaire was used to gather the needed data. Descriptive method and correlation were used in the study. Major findings of the study showed that the respondents were used leaflets in getting information from the agency. Electronic media such as radio and television were found to be effective in disseminating information. In interpersonal media, the use of expert was also found to be effective. While in print media, newspaper, poster, pamphlet and magazine were found not effective in disseminating agricultural information.
