This study investigated the influence of online trolling in Facebbok and Twitter among CLSU students. Three hundred and forty one CLSU students served as the respondents of the study. They were chosen using the simple random sampling method. Based on the findings, most of the respondents' age ranged from 19-21 years old. key sources of information on online trolling were individuals who perceived that Facebook has a lot of hoax information. Key messages on kinds of message received and read on an online trolls post commonly talked about entertainment topics. Moreover, as perceived by the respondents, Facebook had the most trolls. Collectively, participants of the study had a moderate level of influence towards online trolling. In relation with the influence of online trolling, the behavior/mood of the respondents before and after reading and seeing a troll's post changed from happy to being annoyed. On the other hand, strong and positive relationship was found between the age of the respondents and the level of influence of a troll. In addition, there was a weak but significant relationship between the dialect and the level of influence of a troll. Meanwhile, no significant realtionship was found between the sex of the respondents and the level of influence. Looking further into the reason why the respondents are happy when logging in their social media account and getting annoyed afterwards, why Facebook is the social media platform of trolls, and to look for the perspective of trolls were the recommendations of the study.
