Abstract
This study was conducted to determine the Korean language learning among the college students of Central Luzon State University through Korean media. One of Stephen Krashen’s five hypothesis supported this study and were analyzed with the use of different statistical tests.
This study was conducted to determine the Korean language learning among the college students of Central Luzon State University through Korean media. One of Stephen Krashen’s five hypothesis supported this study and were analyzed with the use of different statistical tests. The results revealed that Korean drama is a better medium of learning the Korean language rather Korean movie and K-Pop song. Most of the respondents revealed that they can remember and speak few words by watching the Korean dramas. Also, the respondents’ perception regarding the Korean media were uncovered and the results also showed the differences and relationships of the respondents ‘ exposure to the different media used. Thus, this study is a presentation of different media as ways of learning the Korean language. Therefore, this study is beneficial because it revealed the variations in terms of gender and age existed in terms of the respondents ‘ exposure to the different media.
