Abstract
Every business and organization needs equipment in order to run effectively. However,
maintaining this equipment sometimes gets delayed or forgotten. This study proposes to
design and develop an Equipment Maintenance Record Monitoring System for Central
Luzon State University. This system will allow the employees to set the maintenance
schedule for each piece of equipment, remind them of the upcoming schedule, and generate
maintenance records for the equipment. The system will be able to scan the QR codes
attached to each piece of equipment to view its basic information, current condition, and
next maintenance schedule. The system will also provide an inventory of the equipment
and other tools. In addition, the system will also provide a ticketing and request feature to
allow other offices to request maintenance from the Equipment Repair and Maintenance
Services (ERMS). An audit trail will also be included to monitor the actions performed by
the users. This system will help to ensure that the equipment inside the university is
working and in good condition.
