dc.description.abstractThis study explored the relationship between acculturation, friendship formation and academic experiences of international students. The sample size included one hundred fifty international students from twenty three different nationalities and was chosen purposively. Data was analysed via descriptive analysis and Pearson r moment correlation coefficient. The findings revealed that there is a significant relationship between acculturation and friendship formation of the participants, also there is a significant relationship between acculturation and academic experiences of the participants and also there is a significant correlation between academic experiences and friendship formation of the participants. In terms of demographic variables, acculturation level of the participants found high. In addition, academic experiences of the participants found that they are satisfied and the friendship formation of the participants found as high. On the other hand, length of stay of the respondent was found that there is no significant when it come to the acculturation, academic experiences and friendship formation of the international students.
