Abstract
A sustainable planet should have a stabilizing population. As human population increases, humans demand for resources like water, land trees and energy increases. Unfortunately, the price of all this “increase in demand” is paid for by some endangered plants, animals and natural resources. This paper centers on the application of the Logistic Growth Model to model the population growth of Nueva Ecija using the data from the year 1970-2010. We have determined that the maximum capacity of the population of Nueva Ecija is 3238603.749 and the Vital coefficients a and b are 0.32334476 and 9.98407913 x 10-8, respectively. Thus, the average population growth rate of Nueva Ecija, according to this model, 32.3% for ten years.
