| dc.description.abstract | This quantitative study revolves on the migration intention of rural youth in selected barangays in Guimba, Nueva Ecija and to look further on what factors that influence rural youth to move from their place of origin and factors that attacts them to migrate to their place of destination, using the Push and Pull Theory of Everett s. Lee (1966). The findings revealed that rural youths three study areas who are more likely to migrate was triggered by low wage offered in the country and it's not enough to meet their daily needs. While the factors that attracts the rural youth to migrate was due to more jobs offered abroad with attractive high salary packages that can sustain their daily needs. The study also that younger the person, the higher the chance to migrate. | |
