dc.description.abstractThe study was conducted to determine if the socio-economic status and episodic foresight are significant relationship among Filipino children, if the age and episodic foresight are significant relationship among Filipino children and also if the children are able to think and plan to meet future needs. Forty-five (45) children belonging to three groups; each group has 15 children belonging to three groups; each group has 15 children age of 3,4 and 5 years old from Busao Day Care and Busao Elementary School. The measures were use based on the study of Atance&Meltzoff (2005). The results of this study showed that the three, four and five years-old participants, significant difference were noted between their performances in test-scenarios. Aged three years old and four years old need more develop their episodic foresight and five years old have an ability to think to meet future needs. But there seems to be trend the higher the age, the better performance of participants. Similarly, the younger the age, the lower performance of participants. However, no significant difference between the socio-economic status (upper class, middle class and lower class) and their performance in test-scenarios.
