Abstract
Previous study showed the effectiveness of IMO-ES in increasing the grain yield of aromatic rice during dry season under organic cultivation. This study aimed to test if IMO-ES application will also increase the grain yield of aromatic rice during wet season. It was conducted at Ramon Magsaysay Center for Agricultural Resources and Environment Studies (RM-CARES), Central Luzon State University, Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija from August to November 2018. The study was carried out in a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with following treatments. Control, IMO-ES applied every week (AEW), IMO-ES applied every two weeks (AETW) and IMO-ES applied every four weeks (AEFTW) with three replications.
The findings showed that the different frequency of application of IMO-ES didn't affect growth and yield of aromatic rice, except grain length. Therefore application of IMO-ES during wet season is not advisable because the result on growth and yield is comparable to control.
