Abstract
A vortex type turbine power is a green technology that generates electricity from alternative or renewable energy source. In the vortex-type turbine, water is introduced into a circular basin tangentially that creates a free vortex and energy is extracted from the free vortex by using a turbine. the field study was conducted on April to May 2023 at College of Engineering, Center for Renewable Energy and Technology (CREaTe) workshop, Central Luzon State University, Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija.
The intern used the plans and the help of his center colleagues to construct the vortex-type turbine as part of his primary task during his fieldwork activities.
In particular, the intern worked on micro hydro, where he modifies the pipes and moved the machine utilized in the intern also carried out other activities, including modifying and restoring farm equipment that was accessible at the center. Additionally, the intern built a steel fence for the new Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering office at the College of Engineering at Central Luzon State University. As weel as carrying out any other related tasks that the director or immediate supervisor may
