The primary focused of this study is to know the bereavement intensity among bereaved individuals from Talavera, Nueva Ecija. Determined whether the bereaved individual's Sex and Nature of death of the decease has significant difference on the intensity of bereavement. This is also to identified if there is significant relationship in factors such as personality factors, social support, and length of bereavement to the bereavement intensity. In a total of 124 bereaved individuals that responded using close ended survey questionnaire which composed of three parts including Core Bereavement Items (Burnett et al., 1997) to measured bereavement intensity amd Introversion Scale (Richmond and McCroskey, 1998) to measured personality factors, the study obtained the needed data. Using descriptive statistics, t-test and correlational analysis data were analysed, and found that most bereaved individuals have higher intensity of bereavement, this also found that significant difference were not obtained in variables such as sex and natures of death and seems that bereaved men and women as well as the bereaved individuals who experienced the death of a loved one by Natural or accidental have deals with the pain equally. Personality factors show significant relationship which may imply that the more introverted bereaved individuals, the higher bereavement intensities they experienced Moreover, Social support showed a moderate association and suggests that if the bereaved individual social support changed the bereavement intensity will also change. Furthermore, the length of bereavement shows negative significant relationship which suggests that the intensity of bereavement were decreases as months passed from the significant loss.
