Abstract
Trees play a vital role in reducing air pollution, preventing erosion, regulating the water cycle, supporting wildlife habitats, preserving biodiversity, and stabilizing soil. Deforestation is a critical problem that leads to environmental change, and efforts have been made to slow this process. However, understanding the complexity of deforestation is essential because it is a complicated and interconnected issue that requires careful consideration. While the university has a document called the "LUDIP," it lacks detailed information such as geographical information of trees. To address this issue, the study emphasizes the importance of thorough documentation and the implementation of an extensive tree mapping inventory system. The goal is to provide researchers, students, and organizations with the necessary knowledge and tools to better understand and appreciate the tree diversity within CLSU's premises.
