Abstract
To know how to manage emotions and low to communicate effectively with others, so as to fulfill the goals, one relies on his or her socio-emotional competence and moral foundations. There are five domains in socio-emotional competence: self-awareness; social awareness; self-management; relationship management; and responsible decision-making. In the ensuing years, it claims that people make their moral judgments in an intuitive way based on five moral foundations, the care, fairness, loyalty, authority and purity foundation which are postulated as making of the "moral mind" (Graham et al., 2012). This study aims to know about the level of socio-emotional competence and moral foundation, the relationship of the socio-emotional competence and moral foundation of college students with single father and also, to determine the level and difference of socio-emotional competence and moral foundation between sexes. In sum, this research sheds light on the question how morality and social emotions are related.
