Abstract
The present study focuses on determining the conceptual context among experiences of incest victims whose perpetrators are their fathers. This is also about their coping mechanism on how they faced the terrible experiences they had encountered, and what they have to desire in the near future. This study consists of four respondents, each of them are victim of incest and curretly under care of a particular institution for rehabilitation of victims of exploitation. The respondents are in a stable condition which determined by the years they stayed in the institution, and secured by the institution for the fulfillment of tile of this study. The referral of the Social workers and Psychometrician was used in finding and selecting a participants. Thier responses was recorded in a digital recorder and transcribed verbatim and it was analyzed. The present study also used Pagdadala Model by Edwin Decenteceo (1997) as a theoretical framework to serve as a guide in analyzing data. The study formed a three concept or themed as a guide (challenges, coping strategies, future aspirations) and set as a flow of the result. Also thematic analysis (Boyatzi, 1998) was used on defining, analyzing and informing patterns of themes that was found through the gathered data. It shows that there are multiple burden the respondents carries through their life, like the incident itself, issue to their father and the community where they live, Impacts of the incident among respondents caused them to be destructive about themselves like drinking toxicated fluid and cutting themselves, but later on, with the help of the institution they changes their ways into a positive ways of coping, like turning their attention to their study and in a creative ways like drawing and playing with other residents. Social support or Kapwa nagdadala of Pagdadala Model (Decenteceo, 1997) was focused to determine who empowered the respondents to regain their strength and continued their life. there are several positive changes among the respondents after went through the programs and intervention from the institution like; they became strong, mature and they valued themselves and figured what would be their desires in the near future like; finishing studies, to have a job in able for them to live etc.
