CENTRAL LUZON STATE UNIVERSITY INSTITUTIONAL REPOSITORY (GRANARIUM) LICENSE AGREEMENT This License Agreement outlines the terms under which authors or copyright holders grant the Central Luzon State University (CLSU) Library permission to store, preserve, and disseminate scholarly materials submitted to the institutional repository, Granarium. 1. GRANT OF LICENSE By checking the box below, you (the author[s] or copyright owner) hereby grant the CLSU Library a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to: - Store and preserve the submitted work in digital and/or physical form. - Reproduce and distribute the submission (including its metadata and abstract) worldwide, in any medium or format, including but not limited to print, digital, audio, or video formats. - Translate the submission into alternative digital formats as necessary for preservation and accessibility, without altering the content. - Retain multiple copies of the submission for purposes of security, backup, and long-term preservation. 2. RETENTION OF COPYRIGHT Authors retain full copyright ownership of their work. This license does not transfer copyright to the CLSU Library. - You may publish or distribute the same work elsewhere, in its original or modified form, without seeking permission from the CLSU Library. - The CLSU Library does not claim or assert copyright over any submissions. 3. OPEN ACCESS AND USAGE - The submission will be made openly accessible via the CLSU Institutional Repository (Granarium), unless otherwise restricted by the author at the time of submission. - Authorized users may access and use the work for non-commercial, educational, or research purposes in accordance with the “Fair Use” provisions of the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines, provided that appropriate attribution and copyright notices are retained. 4. REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES By submitting your work, you represent and warrant that: - The submission is your original work, and you have the right to grant the rights contained in this license. - To the best of your knowledge, the submission does not infringe upon any third-party rights, including copyright, trademark, or patent rights. - Any third-party content included in the submission is either: - Clearly identified and properly cited; and - Used with the express permission of the copyright holder, which you have secured. - If the submission is based on work sponsored or supported by an organization or agency other than CLSU, you have fulfilled any relevant contractual or legal obligations, including any required rights of review or approval. 5. ATTRIBUTION The CLSU Library will clearly identify your name(s) as the author(s) or copyright owner(s) and will not make any changes to the content of the submission except as permitted by this license for purposes of preservation or format migration. 6. FEES AND REVENUE The CLSU Library charges no fees for depositing or hosting materials in Granarium and does not collect or generate revenue from the repository.
